Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges-the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place.
Your Impact
You will provide data engineering delivery for healthcare data, technical translation, systems thinking, and industry expertise in client service. In this role, as part of a diverse and collaborative client service team, you will engage with clients and/or client engagement teams on a regular basis, both on-the-ground and behind-the-scenes, to help achieve data delivery objectives.
On a day-to-day basis, you will collaborate with our healthcare data specialists to identify and transfer relevant client data into McKinsey's secure data platform and support the execution of our data ingestion, encryption, Quality Assurance (QA) and transformation solutions. Protected Health Information knowledge is key, as your job will require you to identify such data fields and encrypt them following data security best practices, as well as operating as a data steward to the client service teams you will partner with.
Additionally, you will contribute to improving our data delivery assets, by enhancing code libraries, advancing platform features, such as by leveraging automation and AI, and suggesting new solutions.
Over time, your role will grow to manage more complex data deliveries and asset development, and act as an expert in problem solving sessions with clients and colleagues.
Your Growth
You will be part of McKinsey's Social, Healthcare and Public Entities (SHaPE) Practice, based in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, or Washington DC Office.
The SHaPE practice is one of 10 industry practices within the firm and has a mission of measurably improving individuals' lives, livelihoods and health, creating safer and more just communities around the world. McKinsey's Social, Healthcare and Public Entities practice fosters innovation driven by advanced analytics, user experience design thinking, predictive forecasting and new product development. We are a community of entrepreneurs within McKinsey dedicated to using technology to accelerate meaningful impact for our clients. Through self-service access to analytics and data, software as a service solution, strategic acquisitions, and a vibrant ecosystem of alliances, we are redefining what it means to work with McKinsey.
Our practice is organized around domains that house intellectual property and expert practitioners, Centers of Excellence (CoE), and cross-functional special teams working to bring a distinctive approach to our clients in practice priority areas like digital and analytics.
You will be a part of the SHaPE Technology domain, with distinctive capabilities in the areas of Data and Software Delivery, driving the delivery of SHaPE's data and software assets for clients, using technical skills in data science, data engineering, and/or software implementation, working directly with clients and Client Services Teams.
