ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILTIES:



  • Manage the shipping schedule and ensure all shipments leave the Distribution Center on time.
  • Complete all necessary shipping functions in JDE to include approving the loads, checking the loads for accuracy, and confirming the loads are picked up.
  • Coordinate all shipping changes with Warehouse Resource and/or Shift Lead.
  • Perform all other duties assigned



QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:



  • Minimum High School education
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Detail oriented with ability to keep detailed documentation
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Stable work history
  • Time management skills
  • Good communication skills; ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Organized and dependable
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Ability to work and resolve issues with other departments
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications
  • Forklift experience - certification a plus
  • JDE and DSI Scan gun experience a plus



PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must be able to communicate face-to-face and over the phone
  • Constant lifting up to 10 lbs; occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing and walking. Occasional bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Ability to talk and listen.
  • Must be able to read, write, calculate, reason, and interact socially.
  • Requires good visual acuity, depth perception, and color vision.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • Office environment
  • Plant facility
