As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.

The Program Manager/Network Administrator oversees the hospital network enterprise, managing operations, systems analysis, software, database, web design, and information security. They adhere to NIST, DoD, and DHA standards, coordinating technical systems preparation and advising on policies and methodologies. Responsible for documentation, they stay updated on technology for network planning, installation, and maintenance, and liaise with leadership on capital appropriations and business plans.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Program Manager/Network Administrator Responsibilities Include:



  • Manage the entire hospital network enterprise, including all complexes and linked sites.
  • Oversee network operations, systems analysis, and support for software, applications, databases, and web design.
  • Ensure information security compliance with NIST, DoD, and DHA policies and regulations.
  • Provide hardware, software, network, and help desk support.
  • Coordinate technical systems preparation, review, and consolidation.
  • Recommend policies, standards, and methodologies for IT operations.
  • Interface with leadership and technical personnel on performance, scheduling, and technical issues.
  • Maintain and update documentation, reports, and studies.
  • Stay current with advancements in network, database, web, and systems technologies.
  • Advise on capital appropriations, business plans, feasibility studies, and system development.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Program Manager/Network Administrator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:



  • Personnel performing the network engineering function shall maintain Cisco certification CCNA and/or CCDA, as well as Security+.
  • Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing and seeing up close, at a distance, along the periphery, with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus; occasional walking or standing.
  • Strong expertise in network management, database administration, and information assurance.
  • Proficiency in hardware/software troubleshooting and system maintenance.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance (NIST, DoD, DHA).
  • Ability to analyze, plan, and implement IT solutions effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Technical proficiency in web development, software applications, and enterprise IT systems.
  • Experience in IT project management, feasibility studies, and financial planning.
  • Ability to interpret and apply emerging technology trends to hospital network operations.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
