Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. Responsibilities Develop treatment plans including IMRT, VMAT, 3D conformal, and electron as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist Develop dose-volume constraint tables used in analyzing treatment plans Calculate monitor units for both photon and electron treatment plans as a secondary monitor unit check for the treatment plans. Responsible for documenting and charging associated codes for treatment planning and delivery. Participate in performance improvement initiatives that focus on the continuous quality improvement of the department Assist with day-to-day activities associated with the operation of the department Follow hospital and department policies and procedures established for the Department of Radiation Oncology Qualifications Job Requirements Post Graduate Degree in medical dosimetry Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) registration required Or able to maintain Medical Dosimetrist Certification within 12 months of hire Basic Life Support certification Preferred Job Requirements Experience with treatment planning software and electronic medical record keeping Experience with Varian Aria and Eclipse
