Injection Molding Machine Operator

Staffmark is hiring a dedicated Injection Molding Machine Operator for a plastics facility in Anderson, SC that manufactures automotive parts. Pay: $16/hr | Multiple Shifts Available

Responsibilities: You will set up, start, and operate injection molding machines according to specifications, monitor machine performance, and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. You'll also remove finished parts from molds, inspect them for defects, trim, assemble, and prepare plastic parts, and troubleshoot minor machine issues. Additionally, you'll perform routine maintenance such as cleaning molds and ensuring smooth material flow, follow safety protocols, and maintain a clean and organized workstation while keeping accurate production records.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience in plastics injection molding or machine operation is preferred but not required (training provided)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect defects
• Basic mechanical aptitude for machine adjustments and troubleshooting
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. when needed
• Flexibility to work overtime or additional shifts as required
