The Planner is responsible for the scheduling/planning process for installation schedules that meet tool install schedules and customer requirements. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling and tracking of work items; including trades interaction, 3rd party schedule verification, Tool Owner schedule interaction, Milestone tracking and progress updates, including:

  • Excel spreadsheet tracking with metric
  • Powerpoint presentation updating
  • Scheduling meetings with Signoff workgroup
  • Meetings with trades to coordinate workarea interactions during POC and commissioning activities

Main Responsibilities

  • Assists with the direction of team daily operational activities while providing single point of contact for customer for the assigned installation, conversion and retrofit programs.
  • Work with Intel Tool Owners and Area Coordinators to create and maintain tool upgrade schedule.
  • Coordinate with trades to ensure minimal impact to activities during scheduled upgrade times
  • Single point of contact for all customer related enquiries and issues relating to the assigned programs.
  • Establish and audit local operating procedures to provide a training aid and reference source for Edwards personnel to facilitate seamless execution of upgrade and retrofit programs.
  • Performs special projects at customer site with supervision as needed from senior technical experts or project management.
  • Assists with failure analysis by providing information on mode of failure on each equipment failure.
  • Submits information to Edwards technical department to drive equipment improvements.
  • Can support the input of data into the service management application for specific work activites on upgrades, retrofits and conversions as assigned by the site team leader.
  • Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from [supervisor/ manager].

Education level

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Relevant Previous experience

  • 1-2 years related industry experience

Knowledge areas/Skills

  • Excellent Organization, planning and coordination skills ,
  • Proven track record in a customer facing environment
  • Good communication skills and work ethic.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Powepoint application
