Hear more from our team members about why UnityPoint Health is a great place to work at https://dayinthelife.unitypoint.org Overview Peer Recovery Specialist Full-Time; FTE 1.0 Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm Moline, IL The Peer Support Specialist is indirectly supervised by the Department Manager and provides care to consumers utilizing the Robert Young Center principles of Trauma Informed Care. The Peer Support Specialist serves as a member of the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) and provides recovery oriented in-home and community-based services for adults with severe mental illnesses. The Peer Support Specialist provides comprehensive case management and psychosocial rehabilitation through an outreach-oriented set of service activities. The Peer Support Specialist provides crisis intervention, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and demonstrate Trinity's principles and values when interacting with clients, families, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
