MENTORSHIP LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE ASSISTANT PROGRAM COORDINATOR The City of Worcester seeks qualified applicants for a Mentorship Leadership Experience Assistant Program Coordinator for the Division of Youth Opportunities within the Department of Health and Human Services. Under the direction of the Mentorship Leadership Experience Site Coordinator, the Mentorship Leadership Experience (M.L.E.) Assistant Program Coordinator will work for the Recreation Worcester summer program and is responsible for working with the M.L.E. Program Coordinator to develop the program, engage with families, and facilitate the curriculum of the M.L.E program. The M.L.E. Assistant Program Coordinator will lead and develop a group of 13 - 14-year-olds in a youth workforce readiness program and work with community partners and other youth serving organizations to provide a holistic view of youth work opportunities to participants. Additionally, this individual will work with the Recreation Worcester staff to support the implementation of athletic, academic and arts programs for various age groups. o An equivalent combination of education, training and two (2) years of work experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job will be considered in lieu of the above-mentioned requirements

SALARY: $17.50 hourly, full-time, temporary, non-benefitted.
