Primary Purpose

Supervises the building and mechanical equipment maintenance programs for offsite facilities, ensuring the facilities and equipment are functional, reliable, and structurally sound.

Education:

• Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience:

• Must have six years of building maintenance and mechanical equipment/systems experience, to include supervisory experience.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:

• None

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

• Must have a Texas Class C Driver's License and be insurable. Must have access to an automobile.

Skills or Special Abilities:

• Must possess a thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems, and their maintenance.
• Must be able to read blueprints and specifications.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to demonstrate effective organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate effective supervisory skills and techniques.
• Must be able to prepare estimates for work required.
• Must be physically able to lift heavy loads, walk, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
