Server Administrator
As the Server Administrator you will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting the entire organizational computing environment including hardware procurement and deployment, Tier 3 system support, project management of deployment and rehab projects and various assigned monitoring and management responsibilities.

Essential Functions & Requirements:

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
• Provides support for existing Active Directory infrastructure deployments
• Provides support for Group Policy management and group policy design
• Utilizes PowerShell to automate processes and changes in environment as required
• Designs, deploys, and troubleshoots VMWare ESX servers as required
• Designs, configures, and manages Windows and Linux virtual servers
• Adheres to and creates updates to process documentation as needed
• Manages projects related to deployment of new servers and Active Directory changes
• Documents configuration and monitors various aspects of server infrastructure via SolarWinds
• Supports ServiceDesk in resolving escalated tickets requiring specific technical knowledge
• Provides Tier 3 server troubleshooting and support, including on-call rotation, and after-hours support
• Maintains the ability to travel occasionally as needed up to 20%
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education:

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Bachelor's degree in information technology (preferred)
• VMWare Certification - VCP-DCV (preferred)

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience with Active Directory / Group Policy management (required)
