Audiology Assistant

Job Description

Assists in the speech and audiology testing of patients. Performs screenings on newborns, under supervision and maintains documentation of all patients in database.

Job Responsibility

• Performs inpatient and outpatient newborn hearing screening under supervision of audiologist.
• Assists audiologists with pediatric hearing tests.
• Documents encounters in patient database; download and print test results from computerized audio logical and speech pathology test equipment.
• Provides clerical support, as needed.

Job Qualification

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
• Interest in speech pathology or audiology.
