Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Microservices MySQL PL/SQL Spring Boot and Java as well as domain expertise in Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Education Details: BS or Equivalent

Job Locations: Portsmouth - NH (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

* Design and develop scalable and robust microservices architectures.
* Implement and maintain MySQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
* Utilize PL/SQL for database programming and optimization.
* Develop and deploy applications using Spring Boot framework.
* Write clean efficient and maintainable Java code.
* Ensure compliance with governance risk and compliance standards in all projects.
* Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to integrate technical solutions.
* Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
* Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.

Qualifications:

* Possess a strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
* Have extensive experience with MySQL database management and optimization.
* Demonstrate proficiency in PL/SQL programming.
* Show expertise in Spring Boot framework for application development.
* Exhibit strong Java programming skills.
* Understand governance risk and compliance requirements in technical projects.
* Have experience working with finance and accounting systems.
* Display excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Show ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
* Demonstrate ability to work in a hybrid work model.
* Have a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Certifications Required:

Certified Microservices Architect Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate Spring Professional Certification Oracle Certified Professional Java SE

Salary:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
