Manage Terminal Equipment Operations with Precision and Impact at The Pasha Group
At The Pasha Group, maintaining reliable, compliant, and customer-ready equipment is critical to delivering our logistics and transportation services. We are looking for a skilled Liner Operations Maintenance and Repair Manager to oversee container, chassis, and power equipment maintenance and repair across assigned terminals. This role is vital to ensure our terminals operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely-every single day.
What You'll Do
  • Lead Daily Maintenance Operations: Oversee repair and maintenance activities for containers, chassis, and power equipment, ensuring readiness and reliability.
  • Monitor Equipment Compliance: Ensure equipment meets all regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Vendor Oversight & Quality Control: Manage vendor relationships, approve and audit repair estimates, and monitor performance and billing accuracy.
  • Manage Repair Programs: Coordinate reefer monitoring, electronic tracking device maintenance, and repair scheduling with a focus on cost and service excellence.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Serve as the main point of contact for Sales, Operations, and Finance for M&R matters.
  • Plan and Analyze: Forecast equipment needs and support RFP processes to identify qualified service providers.
  • Drive Standards: Uphold safety practices and ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards across all terminals.
What You Bring
  • Education & Credentials:
    • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Operations or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Valid driver's license and TWIC card required
  • Experience & Knowledge:
    • 5+ years of experience in terminal or container equipment maintenance
    • Supervisory experience preferred, especially within unionized environments
    • Strong understanding of container terminal operations and West Coast logistics
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Mechanical knowledge of reefers, chassis, gensets, heavy lift machines, and tractors
    • Ability to evaluate vendor performance, manage repair budgets, and troubleshoot urgent M&R issues
  • Key Skills:
    • Effective communicator and team collaborator
    • Quick decision-maker with a hands-on approach
    • Ability to build and maintain strong vendor and internal relationships

Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time.

Zone 2: $90,000 - $110,000
This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
Annual Incentive Opportunity: 10% of eligible compensation
