Position Specifics

This is a home-office based position in the Pittsburgh, PA metro area. This role is responsible for a range of mid to large-tier Enterprise accounts in PA, primarily in the western half of the state. Candidates must reside in the region being covered.

Experience



  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a pre-sales SE for a network vendor of value-added reseller
  • Strong hands-on experience with Juniper products and solutions
  • Experience crafting/building solutions in the Campus & Branch, Data Center, WAN, and Security spaces.
  • JNCIP or equivalent experience highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant/equivalent fields desired



Required Skills



  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop meaningful and impactful professional relationships with your customer's tech staff and business stakeholders
  • Background in Routing (IGPs, EGPs, etc.) - SD-WAN experience desirable
  • Background in campus network design (Virtual Chassis, WLAN, NAC, relevant architectures including EVPN-VXLAN overlay designs)
  • Network Security (NGFW, IPS, DDoS mitigation, SIEM)



Desirable Skills



  • Data center network design (EVPN-VXLAN, Spine & Leaf architectures)
  • IP/MPLS VPNs (L2/3 VPNs, Overlays)
  • Automation & Management (Python, Ansible, YANG, Apstra, etc.)


Minimum Salary: $154,880.00

Maximum Salary:$222,640.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $154,880.00 and $222,640.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
