About The Role

Position will assist business customers in a professional and courteous manner providing technical support regarding all eBanking products. Maintain all necessary documentation in the portfolio and remain informed of and follow all applicable policies and procedures. Preserve strict confidentiality of all customers financial information.


About You

Support - 100%

  • Set-up new eBanking users. Assist with company set up of cash management, bill pay, and remote deposit.
  • Provide technical support to customers for cash management, bill pay, and remote deposit services.
  • Perform research and verification for outgoing wire transfers and foreign drafts including accurate and timely system entry and maintenance.
  • Perform monitoring and maintenance of daily eBanking reports.
  • Perform and maintain Quality Control monitoring of new eBanking services.
  • Field customer questions regarding business eBanking products, services, and fees. Assist customers with beginning the eBanking application process.
  • Monitor inventory of equipment and order as needed to maintain a proper supply for the electronic banking department.
  • Remain informed of all Bank products and services in order to identify sales opportunities and refer business, when necessary, to the appropriate person for follow up and close of sale.
  • Ensure that proper records are maintained, and safeguards systems and retention of storage as needed.
  • Assist with training of customers on all electronic banking products.
  • Assist with annual reviews of eBanking services.

Other Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Consistently maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Take part in community development through volunteer opportunities and/orboard participation with non-profits and other community organizations.
  • Participate in community service and bank-sponsored activities that serve and support the mission and values of Valley Bank.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of customer service.
  • Knowledge of Valley Bank products/services to effectively present appropriate solutions to customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Work quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments, and the public.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years customer service experience.
  • Understand the Bank's products, services, and their benefits.
