Customer Service Order Specialist II

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Customer Service Order Specialist II for our Columbus Ohio location.

Responsibilities

• Answering phone calls and providing excellent customer service for sales reps, customers, and internal staff
• Manages the flow of orders in our system
• Managing the hold for PO orders in the pending submissions queue.
• Review and submit or assign orders in Pre WMS status for Columbus and Newtown according to assigned schedule.
• Assists with printing labels on demand requests to be shipped with orders according to assigned schedule.
• Back up for managing orders in the Inventory Queue
• Complete all daily or weekly reports/logs
• Responds to all voicemails and emails.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Prior clerical experience.
• Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• This position requires excellent name/number perception skills and organizational skills.
• Prior customer service experience.
• The ability to respond quickly to problems, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers in both written and verbal form.
• The ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions.
• A person who is dependable (i.e., reports to work daily, barring any unforeseen circumstances).

Additional Information

This is a Monday-Friday role. The hours are 6:00am-2:30pm. This is an onsite role.
