Staffmark is hiring a Medical Office Biller in Monroe, LA!

Pay: $15 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

As a Medical Office Biller, you'll verify patient insurance coverage, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private plans. You'll obtain pre-authorizations, update patient records, and submit and follow up on claims to ensure coding accuracy and compliance. You will also resolve denied claims, post payments from both insurance and patients, and generate patient statements. Additionally, you'll collect outstanding balances, explain billing policies to patients, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and create billing and collection reports.

Requirements:



  • Two years of medical billing experience
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing processes
