Genesis10 is seeking a Systems Engineer IV for a 9 month contract with our client in Richfield, MN. Local is preferred but willing to look remote. Hybrid at first, then one day per week in office Summary: Core network and automation. We maintain the data center networks, including routing, switching, load balancing, and DNS/DHCP systems. In addition, we automate common tasks in the data center network space Project Description: This would be a supplemental engineer to help implement, troubleshoot, and automate common network tasks. Responsibilities: Deploying, and maintaining high-performance and scalable network solutions for data centers, including core switches, edge routers, load balancers, and other related network equipment. Implement network automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks such as configuration management, provisioning, and monitoring of data center networks. Work with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible) to develop solutions that simplify network management and increase operational efficiency. Assist in capacity planning, evaluating network performance, and identifying areas for improvement to scale the data center network. Stay current with emerging technologies in data center networking, including SDN, and network automation, and evaluate how they can be implemented to enhance network operations. Leads and effectively triages complex issues across systems in many environments, primarily in the data center. Takes the lead in root cause analysis. Active participant in planning activities and contributes to strategic planning. Assisting staff/principal engineers Required Qualifications: Cisco routing/switching - 5+ years experience Routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) - 5+ years experience F5 load balancing - 3+ years experience Infoblox DNS/DHCP - 3+ years experience Automation (CI/CD pipelines, ansible, Terraform) - 3+ years experience Preferred/nice to have skills Firewall experience Ability to read and interpret packet captures Compensation: Hourly pay rate: $81/hr- 93/hr W2, or 90-106/hr C2C We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
