Keysight is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to communicate the value of Eggplant's Software Testing product & solutions to the market.

How you will make a difference

As an integral member of the Product Marketing team, you will work closely with the product team to determine the most marketable features of our products. You will be responsible for defining and executing on product marketing strategies to increase awareness and adoption with prospects and existing customers and to enable the sales team.

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will partner with product management, marketing, sales, services and support teams to set the strategy, and carry out product launches.


Responsibilities

In this role you'll get to:

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that effectively communicates competitive advantage to various target audiences - including internal stakeholders, end-users, and customers.
  • Serve as the expert on a business unit's suite of products as it relates to buying behavior and selection criteria.
  • Gain insights into target audience through industry research, customer interviews, win/loss analysis, and close collaboration with other functions that work directly with customers including customer support, sales, and product management.
  • Conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand and address the needs of customers and prospects globally.
  • Plan and execute the go-to-market strategy for the launch of new products and releases.
  • Produce marketing assets such as datasheets, sales presentations, eBooks, solution briefs and whitepapers.
  • Create sales enablement programs that include competitive intelligence, cheat sheets and marketing assets to support partners and internal teams.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and production of key product and segment priorities.
  • Translate metrics into meaningful insights to positively influence the sales pipeline
  • Support market research, competitor analysis and industry trends

Qualifications

Key Skills:

  • Content Creation. Conveying in the best possible light the features, benefits and value of Eggplant's products and services with specific relevance to the intended audience/channel.
  • Collaboration. Collaborating with multiple teams across the business. This will often include sales and marketing, engineering, product management, and senior executives.
  • Communication. The ability to speak/present and write engaging copy to a high standard is crucial. Telling the 'story' of products and services and weaving in use cases, for various channels.
  • Research. A crucial part of the role is gaining insight into customer needs and experiences. This could include analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews (in support of the Product Managers).
  • Experience with software testing / automation products
  • Experience in Aerospace and Defence, PLM, Retail or Financial Services industries

About You:

You should have a technical background and be self-motivated and have a proven track record of developing compelling product marketing initiatives.

Specific requirements include:

  • Bachelors (or equivalent) degree in a technical, marketing or similar and be familiar with computing and software technology.
  • Proven proficiency as a Product Marketing Manager or similar role with a minimum of 4+ years' experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

Colorado Pay Range: MIN $91,430- MAX $152,380

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
