Position Title: Welder
Wage: $25.00 - $29.00/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 6:00am - 3:30pm or 3:00pm - 11:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring experienced Welders at a company in Oconomowoc, WI. Welder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform MIG welding, robotic welding, and spot resistance welding on metal components according to specifications - Set up, adjust, and operate welding machines and robotic welding systems - Inspect and measure welded components to ensure compliance with quality standards - Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions - Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment - Maintain accurate production and quality records - Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe work environment - Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines - Assist with material handling, machine loading, and work area housekeeping Welder Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred - Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred - Experience with MIG welding, robotic welding, and or spot resistance welding - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills - Familiarity with quality control procedures and precision measurement tools - Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining attention to detail - Welding certification AWS or equivalent is a plus but not required - Ability to lift up to 50lbs as needed - Frequent standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift - Exposure to heat, sparks, and industrial noise proper PPE provided QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
