Intern, Accounting AR/AP

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Help reconcile accounts and assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Assist in reviewing and validating financial documents to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable transactions in the financial system.
• Prepare reports related to accounts payable and receivable, including aging reports.
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable or receivable.
• Provide general administrative support to the Accounting team, including filing, organizing financial documents, and updating databases.
• Participate in the development and improvement of Accounting processes and systems.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data.
• Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be a hands-on team contributor.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with other departments/teams located around the world.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
