SOC 2 Compliance Analyst

Genesis10 is currently looking for a SOC 2 Compliance Analyst for an 8-month contract project for our client. 100% Remote

Summary:

They have a small but dedicated security team responsible for security operations and projects, with support from CloudOps, DevOps, and Engineering. To augment their team, they're looking for an experienced contractor who can be primarily dedicated to achieving the SOC 2 project objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Support the SOC 2 Type I audit process, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of required security controls to achieve and maintain SOC 2 Type I & II.
• Work within Drata (their GRC tool) and Azure DevOps to track and manage compliance-related tasks.
• Collaborate with internal technical and non-technical teams to drive audit readiness and control implementation.
• Provide guidance on best practices for security and compliance in a cloud-based environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience supporting SOC 2 Type I & II audits, including control implementation and monitoring.
• Familiarity with GRC tools (preferably Drata) and work management platforms (Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of security operations, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams to drive security initiatives.
• Experience working in cloud-based environments is a plus.

Compensation: Hourly pay rate: $50 -$65/hr W2

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
