Associate Stop Loss Client Manager Position Summary

Location: We support US flexible working arrangements in the contiguous 48 states.

The opportunity:

In the Associate Stop Loss Client Manager Role (ACM), you will work directly with the Client Managers (CM) to coordinate completion of prospect and sold case activities. The ACM is required to ensure the efficient flow of information by communicating effectively with internal and external partners, including Stop Loss Specialists (SLS), third-party administrators (TPA), brokers.

This includes, but is not limited to: prospect activity, sold case paperwork, and benchmark reporting. This position provides a career progression opportunity within the CM team for entry-level candidates interested in pursuing a career in Sales/Service. This position is primarily based in the Wellesley, MA and Windsor, CT office locations; however, we also have remote employees as well.

How you will contribute:

  • Partnering with CM to build and maintain effective working relationships with assigned Stop Loss Specialists, underwriters, and external partners.

  • Ensuring there is effective prospect inventory support for the CM by managing the decline to quote and missing information processes in a timely manner.

  • Providing new business prospect support; requesting and following up on additional information and capturing final outcome.

  • Coordinating the logistics of assembling, sending, and receiving sold case materials - includes updating and verifying case specific information and ensuring submission is complete and accurate.

  • Maintaining and update Client Relationship Management (CRM) system regarding activities in designated territories.

  • Preparing and distributing marketing materials to SLS, brokers, and TPAs.

  • Performing additional responsibilities as needed.

  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in support of the team's work efforts during peak periods

Required Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1+ years of Group Insurance / Stop Loss Insurance experience preferred

  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of products with good technical knowledge of Excel.

  • Experience using CRM tools to track and manage the activity of sales force

  • Knowledge of group insurance, distribution, and customer service preferred

  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal

Salary Range - $61,400 - $82,900
