Field Engineer - HVAC Test and Balance Technician
This is where you come in.

We're seeking a Field Engineer - HVAC Test and Balance Technician who holds one of the following certifications: NEBB, AABC, or TABB. Certification is required to ensure our team meets the highest industry standards for Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) in commercial HVAC systems.

This role focuses on performing certified TAB services on specialized HVAC systems in commercial facilities, ensuring performance aligns with engineered design plans. You'll work on a variety of commercial, retail, and design-build projects, using company-provided tools and collaborating with clients and trade partners to deliver excellent service.

This position reports to Ron Landberg, Field Engineering Manager, and is part of a collaborative team serving diverse projects, particularly in healthcare, with deep experience across Pacific Northwest hospitals and specialized HVAC testing.

Your Background: What Kind of Person Will Thrive in This Role?

You should have:

  • A NEBB, AABC, or TABB certification (required).
  • Hands-on proficiency using specialized tools such as digital multimeters, airflow meters, infrared cameras, leak detectors, and temperature-humidity meters.
  • A track record of producing detailed, accurate TAB reports aligned with design specifications and system performance standards.

Compensation:
Paid in accordance with the union wage scale.
