The pay range for this position is $15.11-$21.85 based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Front Office Assistant to join our team. As a Front Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support by collecting and entering data as assigned. Providing services to patients and referring professionals by answering phones, greeting and registering patients in a cheerful, professional, and sincere manner, and performing other duties as assigned. This is a temporary/casual position working various shifts. The ideal candidate resides in MN for training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(45%) Medical Records

• Ensures that all incoming and outgoing images and medical report requests are processed on a daily basis
• Communicates with patients and referring offices to ensure they receive the records they have requested

(45%) Registration

• Greets and checks-in patients scheduled for imaging services, and enters in demographic information
• Answers phones and handles calls in an efficient and friendly manner
• Acts as Liaison between technologists and the patients waiting for exams including relaying messages regarding scanner status
• Maintains front office lobby area by straightening magazines, organizing coffee supplies, and assisting with general office clean up
• Performs data collection and enters data into appropriate systems as needed

(10%) Other tasks as assigned

Required:

• 16 years of age
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proficient with using computer systems and typing

Preferred:

• 1-2 years customer service experience
