DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will assist in administrative duties to include purchasing and human resource responsibilities. This position assists in the purchasing of items, contacting vendors, accepting deliveries and verifying receipts. This position assists with human resource transactions to include return to work/leave without pay, scheduling interviews, and assisting with orientation of new employees. This position also registers patrons for camping, overnight observation permits, pavilion rental, point of sale purchases, boat launch permits and mooring permits, and is responsible for accounting for monies collected. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal full-time employment without benefits. The season runs from March through November.
- Work hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00am - 4:00pm; OFF Sunday - Monday, with a 30-minute lunch period.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly salary of $18.05 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
