Instructional Designer (Remote Options Available) Job Details Job Location : UHSP main campus - St. Louis, MO Position Type : Staff (Full-time) Education Level : Bachelors Degree Travel Percentage : Negligible Job Shift : Day shift Job Category : Information Technology Summary Instructional Designer (Remote Options Available) We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Instructional Designer to join our team at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) and colleagues to design, develop, and implement student-centered experiences and digital solutions. Key responsibilities include applying instructional design models, learning theories, online design standards, UX/UI principles, learning technologies, and industry best practices to create high-quality educational content that enhances student learning outcomes. The role also involves managing academic technology systems, providing support and training to faculty and staff, and handling multiple projects with strong organizational and project management skills. The ideal candidate will actively pursue professional development opportunities to stay updated with industry trends and share this knowledge to enhance the expertise of the design team and university stakeholders.
