Position Summary The University of New Mexico (UNM), College of Nursing (CON) is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as the Associate Dean of Community and Clinical Affairs. Provides strategic leadership in developing and refining the College's practice mission and activities. The Associate Dean will articulate a compelling, inclusive vision for the future of nursing practice and community affairs within the CON. In collaboration with CON Chief Financial Officer, ensures financial feasibility of clinical enterprises, ensures timely reporting of financial status across clinical enterprise to the Dean and other required entities. Addresses financial and budget concerns proactively. Serves as a key member of CON Leadership team reporting to the Dean. Duties and Responsibilities:
The University of New Mexico College of Nursing The University of New Mexico College of Nursing, located in Albuquerque, NM, ranks in the top 15% of nursing programs in the country. With over 1,000 enrolled students, the college offers pre- and post-licensure baccalaureate, master's, post-master's, and doctoral programs. Program offerings include the state's premiere Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs; master's and post-master's programs across seven concentrations for APRNs, nurse educators, and nurse administrators; and the New Mexico Nurse Education Consortium baccalaureate curriculum.
