POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist lab staff in reviewing literature, performing molecular biology lab experiments, performing basic animal husbandry, maintaining lab notebooks, organizing lab reagents, performing in silico analysis, and other approved procedures typical of wet or dry laboratory research.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

PCR, IHC, animal husbandry

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must be enrolled in a graduate program of study. Good understanding of basic science concepts, how to use PubMed and other online tools

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Lab setting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Possible lifting of 10 to 20 lbs., depending on nature of chosen project(s).
