Summary
Responsible for the delivery of urology services by preparing equipment, assisting in patient preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Assist urologists and healthcare teams in providing direct patient care during urology procedures. -Prepare patients for procedures, which may include positioning, draping, and providing emotional support. -Set up and prepare urology equipment and instruments required for procedures. -Ensure that all equipment is clean, sterilized, and in proper working condition. -Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on equipment as required. -Adhere to strict sterile techniques and infection control protocols during urology procedures. -Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilizing instruments, preparing sterile trays, and ensuring proper disposal of contaminated items. -Follow established infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of infections.
