What you can expect in this position:

Join our innovative Marketing & Communications Division, working directly under the Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, you'll support Growth Marketing initiatives-encompassing brand strategy, digital marketing, media/advertising, and partnerships-as well as Creative Services, which provides design, content, and multimedia solutions across Versiti. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where you'll be exposed to strategic planning and execution, gain insight into high-level leadership decision-making, and contribute to campaigns that drive Versiti's lifesaving mission.

When you will work?

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week internship, working Monday-Friday. The internship will begin on June 2nd. Our 10 - week summer internships are designed to provide hands-on, project-based experience in various areas of our business.

Responsibilities

    Develops, implements and analyzes marketing project plan, including setting goals, identifying key milestones, acquiring support needed and defining success measurement
  • Builds and manages a basic sales partnership pipeline
  • Coordinates outreach and relationship building with prospective partners
  • Contributes to the creative development of campaign theme
  • Develops social and digital advertising recommendations
  • Past projects including helping with creative and expanding Pint for Pint partnerships or other local partnerships as defined.
  • Participate in cross functional CapStone Intern Project with report out to Executive Leadership.
  • Maintains effective communication with internal and external stakeholder via email, phone and in person meetings.
  • Participate and contribute to department meetings, execute on goals and objectives to deliver outstanding results.
  • Assists with special projects as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification
  • Understands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Complies with all standard operating policies and procedures
  • Project Coordination: Assist with planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional communication
  • Creative Collaboration: Contribute to the development of design briefs, video, social media, and other creative assets that align with Versiti's brand guidelines.
  • Market Research & Insights: Gather and analyze data on competitive trends, donor engagement metrics, and audience behaviors to support strategy recommendations.
  • Digital Marketing Support: Draft and schedule social media posts, update web content, track campaign metrics, and help optimize SEO efforts.
  • Partnership Activation: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to activate promotional and sponsorship opportunities, ensuring smooth handoffs between "hub" (central marketing) and "spoke" (local center) operations.
  • Executive Support: Provide administrative and research assistance to the CMO on special projects-such as leadership presentations, donor outreach strategies, and new initiative proposals.


Qualifications

Education

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program in a related field of the internship required

Experience

  • Completed a minimum of 2 years in college/university in a related field of study for the internship preferred
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Effective communication skills preferred
  • Ability to be customer-focused and follow through on requests promptly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills preferred
  • Ability to quickly and accurately understand instructions and then work independently on assignments preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately preferred
  • Demonstrates keen attention to detail preferred
