As a INF/EL group leader at the North American Quality Center, it is crucial to understand the organization's strategic goals and KPIs, collaborating with the team to continuously monitor and improve quality issues. Additionally, analyzing external indicators and customer data to resolve root causes, while enhancing the technical skills of team members to achieve quality objectives, is key to success.

The ideal candidate is...

• Lead the Infotainment Group to improve overall quality, customer perception, and stabilize new vehicle and durability quality.
• Collaborate with North American affiliates to develop strategic plans for resolving field issues and work together to solve problems.
• Set group goals and objectives in alignment with organizational direction and drive the achievement of all targets.
• Monitor quality trends and coordinate various quality improvement activities to reduce costs and enhance overall HMG brand quality.
• Ensure accuracy in service repairs, supplier quality, and product launches (both pre- and post-launch).
• Analyze complaints using objective quality data to investigate root causes and validate the effectiveness of countermeasures for fundamental problem-solving.
• Enhance the capabilities of team engineers through planned efforts and mentoring.
• Support new vehicle quality through market research and proactive measures.

As the NAQC Team leader ...

  • Develop and manage group strategies, plans, human resources, and budgets, while mentoring direct reports.
  • Support Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) investigations by managing affiliate support, personnel, and investigation outcomes.
  • Prepare weekly work plans and activity reports to track and manage the KPIs of the infotainment group.
  • Prepare and present executive summaries to upper management.
  • Monitor external databases related to safety and product feedback, conducting investigations and reporting as needed.
  • Review and understand team members' reports, providing direction and guidance.
  • Plan and manage efforts to enhance the capabilities of team engineers.
  • Conduct weekly meetings and reports via QIR (Quality Information Reports).
  • Perform administrative tasks such as purchase orders, vacation requests, travel requests, and performance evaluations.
  
  
  
  

Candidates considered will...

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience managing engineers
• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
