As a Senior Manager supporting Global Executive Compensation, you will be trusted to manage the design, structure, and administration of the executive compensation programs within the US and internationally, including developing and communicating short and long-term incentive compensation, executive benefit, and perquisite plans. You will ensure global executive compensation programs are aligned to the market and support Alcon's talent agenda. In this role you will report to the Senior Director, Executive Compensation and Global Mobility. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assists with development and coordination of Compensation Committee materials with all stakeholders.
  • Exhibits deep knowledge of executive compensation function, including current and future trends, ongoing legislation affecting executive compensation, and monitor applicable SEC, accounting and tax regulations to maintain compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Evaluates executive positions on an international level and develops appropriate compensation recommendations.
  • Influences senior leadership and makes recommendations that drive outstanding talent retention and acquisition at the executive level.
  • Identifies and seeks multiple data-points to evaluate and assess effectiveness of executive compensation programs.
  • Assist with the completion of the relevant investor documents, footnote disclosures and other ad-hoc reporting and disclosure requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance and Payroll.
  • Provides guidance on global executive compensation programs to HR partners.
  • Guarantee compliance with global regulatory bodies and internal Alcon policies and guidelines.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
  • Education in business, human resources, finance or related field
  • Experience with dual listed company in both US and Switzerland
