The Business Unit Controller/Analyst is a key member of the company's finance team, supporting the pricing, costing, and operational analysis of a manufacturing facility or production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

The Business Unit Controller is part of the global Finance team, performing the following functions for assigned manufacturing facility(ies) or manufacturing lines Business Unit(s):

• Serves as the financial lead supporting the Plant management and the finance organization

• Forecasting - Short-term, long-term term and budgetary

• Business Unit P&L- Ownership in driving the results by monitoring the operational drivers, proactively communicating opportunities and risks, preparing analysis, and presenting the results

• Analysis and explanation of cost drivers, which will include working closely with the operations team to review, identify, and advise on opportunities for avoiding costs and/or adding value

• Cost Accounting - Ensure the integrity of standard cost data and accurate accounting for Business Unit results

• Pricing - Maintain a deep understanding of customer contracts, monitoring for compliance with the contracts, preparing effective pricing analyses, and presenting to executive management

• Contribute to the design and maintenance of effective Pricing Models

• Preparation of ROI and other financial analyses for capital investments and monitoring and communicating the actual ROI realized

• Continuous Improvement and Business Processes - Work with the broader Roskam Foods team to identify opportunities for business process or data system improvements in a continuous effort to improve accuracy, efficiency, speed, and ease of use

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business

• 5+ years of cost accounting and/or financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Strong in Microsoft Office applications (particularly MS Excel)

• Solid logic and reasoning skills

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organization

• Ability to work autonomously yet in strong collaboration with a team

Preferred:

• Power BI or One Stream experience is a plus

• Public accounting experience is highly desired
