Summary: The Resiliency Prevention Specialist is responsible for supporting the NGB Substance Abuse and Suicide Prevention contract through clinical expertise, program evaluation, and training coordination. This role requires a highly qualified individual with a strong background in social work, suicide prevention, resilience, and risk reduction programs.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide clinical expertise in the development and implementation of suicide prevention and resilience training programs.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs and executive-level briefings on suicide prevention and resilience.
- Collaborate with program staff and stakeholders to ensure seamless program integration.
- Maintain and update program databases and records.
- Develop and implement metrics to measure program effectiveness.
- Organize work, set priorities, and meet multiple deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated instructing and briefing skills, with the ability to adapt to executive-level audiences.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and metric development.
- Proficient in organizing work, setting priorities, meeting multiple deadlines, and evaluating suicide prevention and resilience training programs.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
- Licensed or certified by a state to independently practice social work at the master's degree level.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-licensure clinical experience or related field with a minimum of five years' experience in suicide prevention, resilience, or risk reduction programs.
- Ability to pass a background check and eligible to obtain a Contractor Common Access Card (CAC).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in substance abuse and suicide prevention programs.
- Previous experience working with the National Guard or similar organizations.
- Advanced certifications or training in related fields.
