We have an opportunity for an Atlassian Platform Lead to join our Enterprise Applications team, part of the Information Technology Center of Excellence, in Golden Valley, MN. You will play a crucial role in developing, configuring, and administering Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management and helping to set strategies and standards for the Atlassian global ecosystem within Pentair. You will have strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to optimizing and customizing Atlassian products to meet the unique needs of our organization.

** You will work a hybrid work schedule (3 days/week on-site) at our North American corporate headquarters in Golden Valley, MN. ** #LI-Hybrid

You will:

  • Develop, customize, and configure Atlassian products, such as custom plugins, workflows, scripts, dashboards, and reports to extend the functionality of Atlassian tools and streamline processes / enhance productivity.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Atlassian tools and related applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Administer the Atlassian platform, including managing user permissions, roles, and groups across Atlassian products, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing regular backups and upgrades.
  • Ensure Atlassian system security and compliance is alligned with organizational policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with internal business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with IT and business leaders, as well as existing users of the Atlassian platform, to establish a set of standards and strategic approach for the use of the platform.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to maximize the adoption and effective use of Atlassian tools.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree.
  • Have at least 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing and administering Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or Shell scripting.
  • Atlassian Certified Professional Jira Administrator or similar certification a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $82300 - $152800 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as annual incentive bonus.
