Nokia of America Corporation, R&D Technical Manager (Multiple Positions), Bellevue, WA. SALARY RANGE: $ 152,443 - $ 232,700/ year WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) Nokia of America Corporation, R&D Technical Manager (Multiple Positions), Bellevue, WA. Perform testing and verification for new 4G/5G FDD/TDD Radio access features in Nokia RAN system design and logging. Plan, initiate, and coordinate information technology projects and technical deliverables for Nokia customers. Work with Research and Development (R&D) software engineers to solve technical issues and product cases for Nokia's 5G portfolio, SRAN, and underlying technologies. Work with Mobile Networks sales teams to engage customers with technologies and software solutions beyond immediate roadmap. Update feature descriptions for software programs, coordinate testing and solution development to deliver on Nokia commitments and improve network performance and product capability. Participate in lab and field software testing and bring expertise to analysis and resolution. Maintain the complete life cycle of the customer relationship reflecting the topology and architectural changes with the network evolution. #LI-DNI JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of related work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer is willing to accept 2 additional years of experience. Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following: L1, L2, or L3 Radio Frequency (RF) software operations and maintenance; Testing and verification of new 4G/5G FDD/TDD Radio access features; System Module Hardware, RAN system design, logging, testing, automation or scripting; Development of Multimode RF software drivers, GSM L1, 4g MAC Layer or 5G L2-PS Software; and NetAct, emil, WebEM, SCF file structure or configuration management. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: 5G and SRAN architecture and solution specification. Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 15%.
