Purpose of the Role
The HSE Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs within a manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This role plays a critical part in supporting Worley's ambition to be recognized globally as a leader in sustainability solutions. The HSE Manager will work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement strategies that align with Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable change while fostering a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs to support operational excellence and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety by providing leadership, training, and guidance to employees and stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential hazards to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
  • Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into engineering, construction, and operational activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance sustainability, environmental stewardship, and resource efficiency.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop HSE strategies that align with Worley's broader objectives in sustainable transformation.
  • Engage with external regulatory agencies, industry groups, and community stakeholders to advocate for best practices in HSE.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators related to health, safety, and environmental performance.

Qualifications / Skillset



  • Ability to write procedures and manuals for each manufacturing assembly staging area, English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Experience managing safety for redundant and complacent activities.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HSE programs that drive continuous improvement and compliance Strong public speaking skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs to enhance awareness and engagement in HSE initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management within a manufacturing setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to foster a culture of safety and collaboration.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to HSE challenges.
  • Ability to engage with regulatory agencies, industry organizations, and internal stakeholders to advocate for sustainable and safe operations.
