What You Will Do:
GFT is seeking an Associate Project Administrator to join our Water Group in Houston, TX! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Houston, TX office.

What you'll be challenged to do:
As an Associate Project Administrator, you will support the Right of Way group within our Water Group. You'll be responsible for tracking and maintaining project financial records, assisting with documentation, and supporting internal and client-facing administrative functions.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Maintain accurate project records and financial documentation in compliance with Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) requirements. Update and manage internal asset tracking using our Well Asset Management system (QuickBase) for approximately 430 groundwater and surface water wells. Review and update spreadsheets, letters, and reports; electronically file permits and pumpage reports. Prepare and package Right of Way documentation, including offer letters and encroachment transmittals, for certified mailing. Provide administrative support to the Right-of-Way Manager and assist with logistics for client board meetings and emergency preparedness sessions. Conduct quarterly and year-end reviews of QuickBase data. Support financial reporting and coordination with the client's bookkeeper as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Team Leader.

What you will bring to our firm:
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an office environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (specifically: Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent data entry and recordkeeping skills, with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across varied managers and deadlines.
- A self-starter mindset with a proven desire to learn and improve processes.
- Comfortable with repetition, consistency, and accurate documentation practices.
What we prefer you bring:
College degree or some college coursework is preferred. Experience with asset or database systems such as QuickBase. Familiarity with documentation and administrative processes in the public utility sector.
Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
