SUMMARY

Mortenson is looking for a Senior Manager, HR (Process, Data & Delivery) to join the Human Resources team. This person will be responsible for designing and developing strategy, direction, guidelines, processes and execution for HR Delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Partner strategically with HR Leadership Team (HRLT) to lead and align HR initiatives to business and organizational goals.
  • Design and develop overall strategy, direction, guidelines and processes for HR process and delivery

    • Partner closely with all HR functional leaders and teams to influence the development of processes with a shared services lens on execution of HR delivery across the company

  • Provide consultation, best practices and benchmark guidance and support to HRLT through growth, challenges and other key business matters.
  • Engage as the HR lead with senior leadership team on HR processes and operational and cyclical initiatives
  • Manage, implement, govern continuous improvement of HR documentation, process and policies to improve the delivery of business outcomes
  • Build and assess opportunity to operationalize/ standardize work efforts
  • Lead HR Portfolio (Planning and Delivery) work, understanding and incorporating HR market trends
  • Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's degree preferred
  • 10 or more years of related experience required
  • Preferred experience implementing and/or working in shared services/ HR operations model
  • Shown experience leading HR projects and working in a shared services model
  • Working knowledge of HR data governance and control processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of human resource practices
  • Organizational change management experience
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill
  • Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
  • Influence and partnership with senior leadership

The base pay range for this role is $130,600 - $195,900. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
