Overview
Project ECHO is a knowledge sharing platform used to disseminate information from centers of learning and expertise to more rural and underserved areas. This position is for a Program Assistant III to help the Project Coordinator facilitate ECHO sessions with topics of substance abuse, mental health, early intervention topics and many more. This person will also work on marketing (including social media) and ensure fidelity and proper functioning of the program under the direction of the Project Coordinator. This position may be between 30 - 40 hours per week depending on program needs and the candidate selected. This position is contingent on funding.

Responsibilities
  • Support Project Coordinator in facilitating ECHO sessions.
  • Assist with management duties including distribution of ECHO session materials, CANVAS course content development and schedules.
  • Facilitate the delivery of didactic and case presentation materials.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining website materials including managing the YouTube channel, social media content, and updating ECHO project website regularly.
  • Assist with creating promotional materials, newsletters, and communications to support Project Coordinator needs.
  • Coordinates ECHO meetings using ZOOM online conferencing platform as well as coordinates, plans and carries out in person meetings of the ECHO HUB.
  • Assists with recruiting and providing training to HUB members and other key personnel for ECHO networks.
  • Assists with marketing and helps recruit future ECHO projects to the IDRPP.
  • Works as a liaison between State and Local agencies to encourage participation in ECHO projects. Educates state and local agency administrators about the ECHO project and value of engagement.
  • Provides support for required reports to ensure accuracy and completion.
  • Works with Project Coordinator on budget specifically in area of marketing and promotion.
  • In conjunction with Project Coordinator, works to ensure that social media and marketing efforts are effective.
  • In conjunction with the Project Coordinator gather and analyze responses to ensure quality improvement in the program.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Four years of experience in a related field; or an associate degree/technical training plus two years of experience; or a bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the ECHO platform.
  • Familiarity with setting up and managing the CANVAS online learning system.
  • Experience with setting up and managing in person and virtual meetings including locating and securing venues for meetings.
  • Experience in creating and monitoring reports for funders that ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of and experience with curriculum development.
  • Experience interacting with and facilitating meetings with professionals on a statewide level.
  • Experience in using ZOOM for large groups.
  • Experience in handling administrative tasks.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of social media and marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with functions of ZOOM online video conferencing platform.
  • Ability to create and edit YouTube videos and ability to manage YouTube channel.
  • Knowledge of the disability field, particularly the early childhood arena.
  • Ability to help facilitate ECHO sessions.

The Institute for Disability Research, Policy, & Practice is one of the largest research and outreach centers at USU, and we are largely funded through grants, contracts, and fee-for-service programs.
