The ERLI Matriculation Manager is key to attracting and guiding international students to the Embry-Riddle Language Institute (ERLI), an intensive English program that prepares non-native English speakers to thrive in academic degree programs at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. This role involves developing targeted outreach strategies, nurturing relationships with prospective students, families, education agents, and partner institutions, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the matriculation process. Key Responsibilities:

Outreach, Engagement, and Strategic Relationship Building

  • Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to promote ERLI to international students, families, education agents, and partner institutions.
  • Engage with prospective students and their families through culturally sensitive advising, providing personalized communication from inquiry to pre-arrival stages.
  • Represent ERLI at both virtual and in-person events such as international education fairs, webinars, school visits, and partner presentations.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including education counselors, international organizations, U.S. embassies, and overseas institutions.
  • Partner with ERLI leadership and other university departments (e.g., International Admissions, Graduate Admissions, Office of Global Engagement) to align strategies for outreach and student success.

Data Management and Continuous Improvement

  • Utilize a CRM system (Salesforce, etc.) to track, manage, and analyze prospective student data. This will support targeted outreach efforts and help measure success.
  • Stay up to date with global trends in international education and language learning, helping to position ERLI competitively in key markets.

Administrative and Reporting Duties

  • Maintain accurate records of all outreach activities, student engagement, and partner communications.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and federal regulations regarding international student enrollment and services.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on outreach performance, inquiry trends, application flow, and program outcomes, supporting the ongoing development of ERLI's strategy.
  • Assist in maintaining ERLI's program documentation, digital assets, and communication materials used for both external and internal purposes.

Program Support - USA College Prep Academies

  • Engage prospective students and families interested in the USA College Prep Academies program, responding to inquiries and sharing relevant program materials.
  • Assist with logistical coordination during the two-week USA College Prep Academy sessions, including organizing activities, housing, transportation, meals, and excursions.

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Participate in special projects and university events related to internationalization and student services.
  • Support the ERLI Director and team with additional tasks as necessary to meet evolving departmental or institutional goals.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree.

  • Area of study: Bachelor's degree in international education, Communication, Marketing, Higher Education, or a closely related field.

Desired skills, knowledge, abilities:

  • Proficiency in a second language.
  • Experience with intensive English programs, academic pathway programs, or similar student support services.
  • Knowledge of U.S. higher education systems, especially related to international admissions.
  • Background in international education, student advising, or study abroad programming.
  • Sales, marketing, or communication experience in promoting educational programs, especially to international audiences.
  • Ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences and market segments using culturally appropriate marketing strategies.
  • Experience living, studying, or working abroad in a cross-cultural context.
  • Comfort with public speaking, both in-person and virtually, in front of international and multicultural audiences.
  • Understanding of U.S. visa processes and SEVIS regulations as they relate to English language learners and international students.
  • Proficiency with commonly used technology tools and platforms, such as Salesforce or other CRM systems, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and other virtual communication or data management tools.

Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required to support outreach, and partnership development efforts.
