Job Summary:
The Assistant Program Manager supports the design, operations, and administration of a managed charging program. Assists with performance monitoring, reporting, budgeting, and process improvements. Collaborates with internal teams and contractors to ensure effective program implementation. Analyzes technical and financial data, prepares reports and presentations, and helps maintain program compliance. Requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design, operations, and administration of a managed charging program.
- Assist in monitoring program performance, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure effective program implementation and targeted growth.
- Coordinate and contribute to program budgeting, marketing strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
- Analyze technical and financial data to support decision-making and program adjustments.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed program records and assist in compliance with applicable guidelines and requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across all aspects of the program.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, business, engineering, operations, or a related field.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
- Strong communication, presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working both independently and within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting clean energy or electric vehicle-related programs.
- Knowledge of electric vehicle technologies, managed charging, or demand response.
- Familiarity with local and state government programs and policies.
- Experience in preparing regulatory filings and working with public service staff.
- Public speaking and technical writing capabilities.
- Exposure to information technology project implementation and maintenance.
