You'll work with massive healthcare datasets, leveraging strong SQL or Postgres expertise, Python, XML, and AI/ML capabilities to transform raw information into powerful insights. You'll also explore cloud technologies like AWS to design scalable solutions that drive innovation in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and leverage new tools, processes and methodologies to interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques on an ad hoc and recurring basis

  • Identify methodologies and build tools to acquiredata from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets; create engaging and insightful data visualizations that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

  • Proactively troubleshoot data quality issues by identifying the root cause of data discrepancies and determining and implementing recommendations for resolution

  • Prioritizebusiness and information needs

  • Identify, define and quantify process improvement opportunities

This position is located in our Overland Park, KS location.

Qualifications
Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Management or related field

  • At least 4 years of data analysis work experience including data management, transformation and visualization

  • Experience with reporting packages (Microsoft SSRS, SAP Crystal Reports, etc.) and industry leading BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI

  • Experience with SQL and RDBMS databases

  • Programming languages and coding technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, XML, JavaScript

  • Experience analyzing large datasets from ETL frameworks

  • Experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)

  • Experience with relational and NoSQL database systems

Preferred

  • Work experience in the healthcare industry, including clinical, financial and operational data

  • Experience working with AI/ML

  • Experience with AWS is a nice to have

  • Experience with languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, C++, Perl, SQL, Hive, Scala, Spark, Kafka,
