DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be essential in providing clerical and administrative support to the division, collaborating with diverse sectors such as the medical field, legal practitioners, legislative offices, couriers, examination centers, and drivers. A strong understanding of the Vehicle Code, Title 75, particularly concerning driver licensing violations and associated penalties, as well as departmental regulations outlined in Title 67, Chapters 79, 83, and 84, is required. Your responsibilities will include processing and issuing Dual Control Permits (DCP), managing the PD resource account for adaptive driving, addressing inquiries related to DCPs, and fostering relationships with certified driving rehabilitation specialists. You will also organize meetings with this community to build and sustain a productive partnership aimed at ensuring driver safety.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
