Customer Associate

Overview: The Customer Associate will provide best in class customer service to the customers of BWI Distribution. This position will work onsite at our Mechanicsburg, PA facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide best in class customer service to the customers of BWI Distribution.
• Customer order entry Analyze sales and margins to achieve sales goals
• Provide accurate and timely quotes
• Provide expert level information to customer inquiries product knowledge, lead-times, and programs & services
• Partner with Outside Sales to provide best in-class customer service & alignment
• Participate in Monthly & Yearly reviews Drive sales, revenue, and attain individual sales goals
• Work within and drive a team environment that builds respect and high performance
• Foster the cultural pillars of Our Purpose: We Help People Walk Through Walls

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum High School education or Post-Secondary Education (University Degree, College Diploma or equivalent) an asset
• Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience in administration or customer service
• Previous experience in the home building supplies industry or manufacturing environment is an asset, as well as, Architectural / Commercial doors
• Must be flexible to work overtime as required at the discretion of the company
• Customer service orientation, complete customer focus, driven to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Ability to work under high volume & pressure situations
• Able to interpret and disseminate information
• Must be Windows PC computer and internet literate; possess advanced word processing, database and spreadsheet skills with the following applications: MS Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Excel;
• Ability to change course/tasks based on the changing needs of the business - flexibility
