Responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee all processes related planning, coordination, and controlling of raw materials, finished goods and supplies to ensure product is made and delivered timely to customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Effectively lead and collaborate with key work partners to achieve strategic goals and objectivess
  • Provide guidance and oversight to systems which facilitate the fulfillment process including inventory planning, production planning, and inventory control.
  • Monitors and maintains sufficient inventory levels to meet customer demands by engaging with sales and production management to understand and translate forecasted sales volumes into production plans.
  • Analyze and optimize inventory plans by adjusting and maintaining safety stock, reorder point, lead time and other parameters in the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet or exceed operational objectives including, but not limited to customer fill-rates and on-time shipments, inventory turns, cycle count accuracy goals, and on-time, in-full targets or other established metrics as assigned.
  • Monitor and make adjustment as needed to established Kanban, pull signals, material flow, and stocking levels.
  • Responsible for formalized inventory cycle count control system to maintain inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Champion Lean/Continuous improvements by emphasizing a kaizen culture and coaching team members to be autonomous problem solvers.
  • Purchasing of Resin Materials from Key Suppliers


Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Planning
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of integrated information systems (manufacturing, materials management, production planning, and procurement) and a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing material flow in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects from concept to implementation and delivering on time business results.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing required with expertise on pull systems, Kanban, and Heijunka
  • Bachelor's degree in a business related major.
  • APICS CPIM certification
  • Proactive change agent and possess leadership skills to build and maintain a team-oriented environment while leveraging lean methodologies.
  • Must be a flexible, decisive and proactive problem solver.
  • Must be a strong communicator and possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple priorities at once.
  • Strong computer skills with ERP/Warehouse management systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and facility with data analysis.
  • Work effectively independently and within a team.
  • Comfortable with operating and making decisions with imperfect information.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze and make business recommendations.

The expected annual salary for this position is between $86,075.00 and $115,771.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for the position and actual compensation will be based on numerous factors including knowledge, location, skills, training and experience.
