Job Purpose

Assist Production Supervisor in organizing the completion of the group manufacturing tasks based on the instructions to ensure that operations run according to established production specifications, schedules and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities



  • Lead the production team physically working with them ensuring continuous work, maximum efficiency and capacity of the staff and production lines.
  • Responsible for the operation of the machines within assigned area, such as mixing materials according to formulas using heating and chilling methods and/or processes compounds, emulsions, washed extracts, distillation, extraction, and high odor products by mixing, homogenizing, filtering, heating, sampling, and chilling.
  • Prioritize and control work flow to maximize resources and ensure on-time delivery of product to customers.
  • Ensure that maintenance work of the machines and equipment is performed; troubleshoot problems or issues affecting productivity to minimize late customer orders.
  • Perform in-process quality testing to ensure that specifications are met and high quality materials are provided to internal and external customers to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for compliance with work schedules and safety regulations, company administrative regulationsand other instructions given by the management.
  • Support and represent Lean concept, executing the defined Lean tasks and proposing ideas for the continuous improvement program in the assigned area.
  • Assume supervisory responsibilities when Supervisor is not present.
  • Assist Supervisor in providing guidance in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety, plant and departmental procedures and guidelines.
  • Train and instruct full-time and temporary staff as needed.



Academic Background

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.



Professional Experience

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in people management.



Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in basic mathematical skills.
  • Product knowledge including color and odor is preferred.
  • Trained and knowledgeable in dispensing or batch-processing manufacturing, bar coding, automated dosing systems and forklift operation.
  • Advanced SAP bar coding/scanning experience required.
  • Proficiency in basic math, reading and recordkeeping skills.
  • Basic PC skills, including competency in MS Office products.
  • Experience in using RF scanner and labeling.
