JOB SUMMARY UT Southwestern is seeking a Journeyman-Licensed Electrician with a minimum of four (4) years of journeyman-level work experience. This position will provide journeyman level skills in performance of electrical work throughout UT Southwestern facilities. Work Location: Dallas Campus; assist other UTSW locations when needed. Shift Requirement: 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Job Duties
- Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances, using handtools and testing instruments, to supply electrical power for lighting and operation of equipment and apparatus.
- Inspects and tests electrical circuits and equipment; isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other equipment, replacing defective wiring, switches, sockets, plugs, and insulators.
- Installs new wiring and electrical apparatus, using blueprints and diagrams to determine correct location and layout; runs wire through conduit, and makes connections to complete circuits.
- Assembles, installs, and connects components of switchboards and distribution panels, and connects to units controlled.
- Assists in estimating time and materials required for job.
- Troubleshoots and maintains all lighting circuits on campus.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
