Job Overview The Central Investigations Analyst is responsible for analyzing shortage and cargo theft data to support Supply Chain Asset Protection investigations and mitigate losses. What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and compile shortage and cargo theft data, identifying patterns and trends to support investigations and loss mitigation. Investigative Expertise: Experience in assisting with case presentations for law enforcement, maintaining detailed records of findings, and conducting surveillance (including CCTV monitoring) to document theft, fraud, and policy violations. Reporting and Dashboard Creation: Proficiency in developing and maintaining dashboard reporting for key performance indicators (KPIs) to track shrink reduction and investigation progress. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings to field investigators, senior leadership, and law enforcement, as well as raising awareness of shrink reduction initiatives across teams. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with field Asset Protection teams and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues related to shortage and pilferage. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of CCTV systems, FLO, Receiving systems, EDI, ASN, and Direct Scan technology. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as handheld technology. Detail-Oriented: Ability to organize evidence and materials for use in criminal cases and present them effectively in court when needed. Problem-Solving: Resourceful self-starter, capable of working independently and collaborating as part of a team to resolve issues. Legal and Compliance Understanding: Ability to interpret legal documents and procedural manuals, and understand the legal implications of investigations and evidence handling. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to relate and communicate effectively with individuals across all levels and socio-economic backgrounds. Who You Are
